Alpha Phi Omega-Alpha Zeta Iota  (Α ɸ Ω)

Alpha Phi Omega is a nationally recognized co-ed fraternity dedicated to service, fellowship, and leadership. They primarily focus on service, and strive to provide service across the 4Cs: Chapter, Campus, Community, and Country. Gifts to the Alpha Phi Omega fund will support travel to leadership conferences in-additional to operational costs for the group.

Beekeepers Club 🐝

Founded in 2011, the Beekeepers Club is a group of students who are passionate about all things bees! They participate in honey extraction, bottling, sales, field trips to the beehives, nature walks, and more. The Beekeepers Club is overseen by the Sustainable Agriculture Project (SAP), an on-campus scientific station where students can research plants, the environment, human-environmental interaction, systems thinking, and community. Gifts to the Sustainable Agriculture Project fund support the health and care of bees at GVSU and student engagement with beehives on campus.

Bowling Club 🎳

Bowling Club is welcoming to anyone and everyone of all skill levels and experience. The men's and women's teams compete intercollegiately against other bowling programs spread across Club, NCAA, NJCAA, and NAIA levels under the USBC Collegiate umbrella. Gifts to the Bowling Club help to keep participation costs low for students.

Esports Club 🎮

GVSU Esports has 19 teams with over 500 casual and competitive players coming together in a shared space. Funds raised will help support events, tournaments, prizes, and quality of life improvements for all members.

Grand Valley Public Relations Student Society of America (GVPRSSA) ✍️

GVPRSSA prepares students for future careers in the public relations and communications industry. As a pre-professional organization, members have enriching experiences via speakers, workshops, agency tours, PRSSA national trips, and student-run integrated communications firm, GrandPR. Donations to the fund will support these activities.

GVSU Cheer Team 📣

The Cheer Team shows GVSU spirit by representing our university with pride on campus and throughout our community. GVC continues to uplift other sports through positivity, crowd engagement, and performances. Funds raised during student philanthropy week will support travel, equipment, and uniform costs.

Laker Dance Team 💃

In this season, you can find the Laker Dance Team performing at all home football games as well as men's and women's basketball games. When the Laker Dance Team is not practicing or performing, they participate in fundraisers and volunteer with charities. Funds raised will help cover regular expenses such as the costs of travel, like when the team attends the DTU College Classic national competition in Orlando, Florida, where they compete against schools from all over the country and perform in both Jazz and Hip Hop.

Men's Club Ice Hockey - D1 🥅

Men's Club Ice Hockey (D1) was established at Grand Valley in 1974. The D1 club team is a member of the American Collegiate Hockey Association, and were 2022 GLCHL Champions. They are currently ranked #13 in the nation and are 2022 and 2023 Grand Rapids Sports Hall of Fame Tournament Champions. Funds raised will support travel, facilities, and equipment costs.

Men's Club Ice Hockey - D3 🏒

Men's Club Ice Hockey (D3) was established at Grand Valley in 1974. The D3 club team is looking forward to the season ahead, and has fundraising needs in a variety of areas, including travel costs for tournaments, and equipment needs.

Men's Lacrosse Club 🥍

The Men's Lacrosse Club represents GVSU on a national stage and is often ranked as a top five team in the nation. The team prioritizes students getting involved in their community, staying fit, and building character on and off the field. Men's Lacrosse Club is working to raise funds for a variety of needs, including player dues and equipment.

Men's Rugby Club 🏉

GVSU Men's Rugby Club Team has been in action for over 30 years, with coach John Mullet leading the team since its inception. The team has experienced significant growth in recent years, and prioritizes a welcoming culture that supports student's growth as both people and players. Fundraising priorities include travel, events and merchandise costs.

Phi Kappa Tau (Φ Κ Τ)

Phi Kappa Tau is a fraternity on campus that stands for characteristics of distinction and inclusion. They aim to lead men to become the best versions of themselves. They will be raising funds for GVSU's Children's Enrichment Center - Student Parent Support Fund, which supports students with the costs of child care, eliminating a barrier to a college degree.

Pre-Veterinary Club 🐶

The Pre-Veterinary Club supports students on the pre-veterinary track, or those interested in Biology and animals. They will be hosting a Pre-Veterinary Symposium as a regional branch of the American Pre-Veterinary Medical Association (APVMA). As part of this event, they bring in professional speakers and lab coordinators to run clinical skills labs and learn about the veterinary field. Fundraising would help to offset some of the costs for the symposium, such as providing lunches, purchasing conference t-shirts, and purchasing laboratory equipment.

Real Estate Club 🏡

The Real Estate Club works to enhance student's understanding of architecture, appraising, brokerage, mortgage financing, and other related fields of real estate. The group engages in a variety of educational opportunities including attending lectures by guest speakers, research and exchange of information, and attendance of regional real estate conferences and events. Funds raised will support merchandise for participants, as well as travel to real estate conferences.

Rowing Club 🚣‍♂️

Established in 1964 as Grand Valley's first sport, GVSU Rowing has a longstanding tradition of excellence and building successful student-athletes. They compete at a high level nationwide, providing valuable life experience and memorable traditions for their athletes. Grand Valley consistently ranks among the best rowing teams in the country, with GVSU crews winning more than 25 national championships and six team points in national titles. While celebrating their 60th year, the team is raising funds to support travel for national competitions, and to keep dues low for student rowers.

Sailing Club ⛵️

The Sailing Club Team at GVSU is a co-ed, student-run club sport that develops regionally and nationally competitive sailors, fosters new sailing talent, and builds a community and sense of camaraderie among undergraduate students. They compete in regattas in the Midwest during the fall and spring seasons. Funds raised will support travel costs and cover equipment expenses.

Seidman Supply Chain Management Association (SSCMA)📦

SSCMA hosts speaker panels, plant tours, and other educational opportunities for students to learn more about supply chain management. Students compete in case competitions, showcasing Grand Valley's academic program on national and international stages. Gifts to SSCMA will support travel expenses when participating in national competitions.

Soil Judging Club 🌱

Soil Judging is a nationally-recognized educational endeavor. Undergraduates engage in soil judging activities in university-specific practices, as well as regional and national soil judging competitions. Participants gain new employable skills and further the understanding of how soils develop and support ecosystems by engaging in hands-on soil and land-use investigations. Funds raised will support travel to competitions, and will also purchase necessary equipment for the club.

Solar Racing Team 🏎️

The GVSU Solar Racing Team has a goal of successfully competing in the American Solar Challenge. They plan to design, build, and race a solar-powered vehicle and compete against teams from across the globe in a 1,500-2,000 mile cross-country course. Focusing on exceptional performance and mainstream implementation, GVSU Solar Racing is committed to changing the world, one advancement at a time. Funds raised will allow the team to purchase materials and equipment to build GVSU's first-ever solar car, which they hope to have operational in two short years.

Water Ski & Wakeboard Club 🌊

The Water Ski & Wakeboard club is a co-ed team which competes across the midwest in various tournaments. Despite being a sport mostly for warmer months, the team stays busy year-round by also volunteering with various organizations including an adaptive waterskiing event. Funds raised will support costs for running and maintaining the team's boat, as well as keeping participation costs low for team members.

Women's Club Volleyball 🏐

The Grand Valley Women's Club Volleyball Team competes in Division I and Division III club sports and is committed to fostering both athletic skill and a sense of belonging. Funds raised would be used to replace old equipment, support the team's trip to nationals, host local tournaments, and to possibly lower the cost of annual dues.
