What is Give As One?   Give As One is 48 hours of collaborative fundraising to support UAB’s students, faculty, and community. Giving Day amplifies the power of your gift—of any size—through matches and challenges from generous donors. Give As One is when the UAB community comes together as One to support student scholarships, innovative research, athletics, diversity and inclusion, spirituality, service, and other important initiatives.

How do I decide where to give?  There are nineteen giving opportunities available during Give As One. Make a gift to any initiative you are passionate about, and 100 percent of the gift will go there. Give to your favorite fund, then explore additional opportunities to make an impact.

How many places can I give to in one transaction?  You can give to as many areas as you would like in one transaction. Be sure to choose the “Multiple Funds” bucket and add in other areas where you would like to make an impact.

Is my gift tax-deductible? Yes! Your gift is tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
