Celebrating your Role as Advocates for Allegheny: We are pleased to offer a special prize for the the first 25 Advocates who generate at least 1 donation for Gator Give Day: these beautiful notecards featuring botanical illustrations of the Carr Hall Garden by Katya Pryshchenko ’25. 

The “Carrden”, established in 2013, is Allegheny College's organic garden at Carr Hall. Student gardeners care for vegetables, fruits, herbs, chickens and bees in the nearly 3,000 square foot organic production garden, the adjacent permaculture food forest, and the renewable energy greenhouse. The space plays an integral role in academic, student and community programming.

About the artist: Katya Pryshchenko ’25 is an Environmental Science & Sustainability and Studio Art double major at Allegheny College. During the 2022-2023 academic year, Katya served as an intern in the Sustainability Office, supporting the Carr Hall Garden through the creation of  to be used in the garden’s manual and for future garden signage.
