EVERYONE! In order to make the Wilkes experience more accessible for our current and future Colonels, Wilkes relies on the collective annual support of alumni, families, friends, faculty, and staff.
Why should I participate in Wilkes Giving Day?
Your support provides critical resources that nurture the university’s growth and success as a first-class institution. There is no better day to maximize your impact than on Giving Day, as challenges and matches will help you make the most of your gift.
What counts toward Wilkes Giving Day?
All gifts made on Giving Day will contribute to our overall success. This year, donors are encouraged to support areas of greatest need and highest priority at Wilkes. These areas include Athletics, the College of Arts & Sciences, the College of Business & Engineering, the College of Health & Education, First Generation Scholarships, General Scholarships, Student Success, Student Wellness and the Wilkes Fund.
How can I help make the day a success?
First and foremost, make your gift to one or more of the areas above! Gifts of any size will help us reach our Giving Day donor goal. You can also help by becoming an advocate and spreading the word to your friends, family, and classmates.
How can I make my gift?
Because this is a limited giving campaign, we encourage you to make your gift online. If you would prefer to mail your gift by check, kindly do so by February 14 to ensure your gift counts toward Giving Day efforts. Checks can be made payable to Wilkes University and should include your gift designation on the memo line. Mail to the attention of Lisa Shafer '01, Director of Development, at Wilkes University, 84 West South Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18766.
