ππ First-time donors to Susquehanna University will help unlock an additional $6,000 in scholarship support from Board of Trustee member Donald '70 and Darcy '72 Hamlin.
ππ Susquehanna University Board of Trustee member Donald '70 and Darcy '72 Hamlin will generously match all gifts donated to any scholarship fund, up to $6,000.
ππ Susquehanna University alumna Allison Grebe '94 will generously match every dollar donated to the Susquehanna University Fund, up to $2,000.
ππ Susquehanna University alumna and Board of Trustee member Ginny Lloyd '81 will donate $2,500 to the Women's Athletics Fund, if 50 donors make a gift in support of Susquehanna's women's NCAA teams.
ππ Alumnus Chris Markle '84 will generously donate $1,000 in support of the Susquehanna University Fund when at least ten members of the Class of 1984 make gifts to the fund.
ππ When 75 donors make a gift in support of the Sigmund Weis School of Business, Susquehanna Board of Trustee member Toni Tomarazzo '84 will generously contribute $1,500 to the school.
ππ When 125 donors make a gift to any Athletic fund, Merle F. Ulsh '55 will make a a gift of $10,000 to The Ulsh Family Scholarship.
ππ Philadelphia Alumni Chapter President Patrick McElroy '07 will make a generous donation of $1,000 when at least 108 donors support the Andrew Jarzyk '09 Memorial Scholarship.
ππ When generous alumni, parents and friends help us reach our goal of 15 donors to the Center for Environmental Education and Research (CEER), Trustee David L. German, D.O. '84 will generously donate $2,500 to the CEER.
Faculty/Staff Challenge
ππ For every dollar donated by a faculty or staff person to the area of their choice, Vice President for Advancement Melissa Komora and her husband, Ron, will generously donate a matching dollar benefitting the Susquehanna University Fund, up to $1,500.
ππ Make 3X the impact with your gift to SU! For every dollar donated by an employee to the area of their choice, President Jonathan Green and First Lady Lynn Buck will generously donate two dollars towards a student scholarship benefitting Sigma Gamma Rho and Phi Beta Sigma students, up to $5,000.
Special Challenges
ππ Calling all students to play Cash Cab! Answer correctly and support your favorite Susquehanna University program, department, or project with a gift of $200 provided by SU Board of Trustee member Lisa Ryan Burke '78.
ππ Susquehanna Board of Trustee member James L. and Chrystal H. Stowe P'13 will generously give $2,500 to the SU Connects Fund when 10 community members share #OneSU on social media. His gift will be made in honor of Bill Lewis β68, the universityβs first male graduate of color, and Theresa Palmer β73 Tracy, the first female graduate of color. As added incentive and reminder, the SUConnects Fund provides funding to pair experienced, high-achieving students with incoming first-year students from underrepresented backgrounds to build a strong, safe community; a sense of belonging at Susquehanna; and a culture of excellence.
