What if the area I would like to support is not listed?
All funds are searchable on the gift form! Simply type in the fund you wish to make your gift to in the designation box using keywords.

Is there a minimum gift amount?
Yes, there is a minimum $5 gift amount.

What types of payment methods do you accept? 
We accept all major credit cards, Paypal, Google Pay,  Apple Pay, and Venmo. We prefer you use one of these methods to make your gift on Seahawks Give. However, you can also make a gift with a check, donor-advised fund, or through gifts of stock or securities. Please ensure that Seahawks Give is indicated in the memo section. Give us a call at 910-962-4483 for assistance with making these gifts. 

Can I give to multiple areas in one transaction?
Yes! You may add up to five designations (funds) by clicking "add another" after you select each designation.

I have more than one affiliation, how am I counted in donor challenges?  
Each affiliation associated with a donor challenge is counted. Make sure to mark all your affiliations if you have more than one. 

Are gifts made on Seahawks Give tax deductible?
Yes! All donors who make a gift online will receive an e-receipt from the Division for University Advancement.

If I make a gift during Seahawks Give, will I be counted as a UNCW donor?
Yes! Your contribution may also count towards membership in UNCW's giving societies.

Can I give anonymously?
Yes. You have the option of making your name, donation amount, or both anonymous on the gift form. Any challenges or matches made can also remain anonymous.

What's the difference between gifts, dollars, and donors? 
Gifts represent a single donation to a fund area. Dollars represent the total sum of all money given to a fund area. Donors are the unique individuals who make donations. Challenges are based on gifts, dollars, or donors.
