Otterbein alumni have a long history of giving back and helping students achieve their dreams of education. We encourage all of our seniors to give the equivalent of their class year of $20.24! If you donate $20.24 and attend a philanthropy education sessionyou’ll receive a philanthropy cord to wear at graduation! A gift of any amount will count toward the goal.

Those who give $20.24 or more will receive a cord to wear at commencement as recognition that they are class donors. The three-colored cord is symbolic: part cardinal to represent your giftpart tan to represent your accomplishments, and part white to represent your future loyalty to your alma mater.

Cords are distributed before commencement and will be available for pickup at the Grad Fair on Wednesday, April 3rd from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.

If you were unable to attend the in-person or virtual Philanthropy Education Session, you can still earn a philanthropy cord by watching a recording. If you would like the recording, please contact Carley King '22 at King3@otterbein.edu

If you have questions about the philanthropy cords please contact Carley King '22 at king3@otterbein.edu
