What is the Game On! Gilman-McDonogh Alumni Challenge?
This is a participation challenge between Gilman and McDonogh alumni, starting on Monday, Oct. 30 and ending on Friday, Nov. 3 at 11 p.m. The school with the most alumni gifts and pledges during this period wins the challenge!
What counts toward the challenge?
Any gift or pledge made by an alumnus to Gilman from Oct. 30 - Nov. 3 counts! Both Gilman and McDonogh are including all gifts and pledges made by alumni, whether they are made on this page or not.
Will my name and donation amount be visible on the campaign page?
Your name will be listed on this page after making a gift, unless you decide to give anonymously. We do not list the amount of your contribution. If your gift is made elsewhere (ex: Venmo, stock transfer, a mailed check, or a gift on the Gilman website), we will list your name unless you request to withhold it.
How can I help make the challenge a success?
First, by making a gift! Then, share this page with the alumni you know. A few simple ways to help:
I'm not ready to make a gift today. Can I still help?
Absolutely! You can make a pledge of support (for any amount) and still be counted towards this challenge. All pledges to The Gilman Fund must be fulfilled by June 30, 2024. Simply email Ryan Nicotra, Director of The Gilman Fund, at RNicotra@Gilman.edu with your commitment.
Is my gift tax deductible?
Yes, as Gilman School is a registered nonprofit organization, your gift is 100% tax deductible. No goods or services are being given in exchange for your donation. Please consult your tax advisor with any specific questions.
