We’re counting on you to help make #GivingTuesday successful! Please use the materials below to connect with your network and encourage them to participate.
Got A Few Seconds?
Follow Broward College Alumni & Friends on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram. Like, comment, and share information about Day of Giving! Visit the Social Media Toolkit for inspiration on what to post and for graphics to share.
Got 10 Minutes?
Sign up to become an advocate. You’ll receive a personal link to share with your network via social media, text and email. You can even set up personal goals for the number of donors or dollars raised from your efforts and track your progress on your own dashboard! View the Advocate Toolkit to learn more.
Have Even More Time?
Personal outreach to others to invite their participation is one of the most effective ways to inspire giving. Check out our Toolkit for texts, emails and even talking points for phone calls and video messages!
How can I direct my gift?
Make a gift to support Broward College through the Faculty Empowerment Fund or to the scholarship most meaningful to you.
You may also select "Other" to enter your desired gift designation if there is a particular scholarship fund you wish to support that is not listed.
Please contact Scott Rivinius at sriviniu@broward.edu if you would like to make a gift of stock or securities so we can count your gift for #GivingTuesday.
Do I get donor credit for the matching amount?
Although your support will have double the impact, you will receive credit only for the amount of your gift.
Need assistance with your gift?
For additional questions, contact foundation@broward.edu.
How can Faculty & Staff make a gift?
Broward College Faculty & Staff can support #GivingTuesday with a one-time gift or can enroll in the payroll deduction program and have the donation paid automatically over time. The total of your commitment for the next 26 pay periods (1 year) will count towards the #GivingTuesday campaign if submitted by November 30. You may access the online payroll deduction form here.
