Why does NCCS have a Giving Day?

Giving Day connects our entire community — those on campus, in CT, and around the world — inspiring school spirit and generosity. Special one day campaigns can contribute substantially to our overall fundraising success and early gifts are put to immediate use during the current school year.

What are the recognized Giving Levels?

Leadership Giving Circles

• Country School Circle $50,000+
• President’s Circle $35,000–$49,000
• Head’s Circle $25,000–$34,999
• Grace House Circle $15,000–$24,999
• Ponus Ridge Circle $10,000–$14,999
• Frogtown Circle $7,500–$9,999

Community Giving Circles

• Maple Circle $5,000–$7,499
• Blue and White Circle $2,500–$4,999
• Community Circle $1,000–$2,499
• Friends’ Circle Up to $999

Alumni Leadership Giving Circles

• Alumni Leadership Circle $1,000 and up
• Alumni Friends Circle $500–$999
• Young Alumni Circle (15th Reunion and younger) $100 and up

Can I make a Gift with Stocks or Securities for Giving Day?

Yes! Please call 203-801-5600 or email dbriggs@countryschool.net to let our team know so we can count your gift, mention "NCCS Giving Day"

Can I make a Gift through a Donor-Advised Fund?

To make a distribution to NCCS through your donor-advised fund, please contact your financial institution and include “NCCS Giving Day” along with your gift designation. Let our team know at 203-801-5600 so we can count your support towards our goal.

Are NCCS Giving Day Contributions Tax-Deductible? 

Yes. NCCS is a not-for-profit institution. Your gift is tax-deductible as a charitable contribution for federal tax purposes, as allowed by IRS regulations. NCCS’s federal tax ID is 06-0646765. Gifts of securities may have additional tax benefits.
