What is Giving Cougsday? 

Giving Cougsday is a once-a-year event to come together in support of students striving to become Christlike leaders through a BYU education.

Can I donate before October 13-14 and have it count toward Giving Cougsday? 

Yes, donations received between September 29 to October 14 count towards Giving Cougsday. Early donations help build momentum towards the goal of 4,500 donors and are appreciated.

How do I donate? 

Select "Donate Here," then complete the required fields.

Do I have to give online? 

Giving online is the easiest way to participate in leaderboards and other campaign challenges. Donations can be made through multiple options such as credit card, Venmo, Apple Pay, and PayPal.

How many times can I give? 

Give as many times as you’d like. Each of your gifts will make an impact, but you will only be counted as a donor one time.

I already gave this year. Does my gift still count toward the challenge?

Your gift supports students whenever you choose to make it. However, only donations made during September 29 to October 14 will count toward Giving Cougsday. If you already made a gift this year, please consider making an additional gift for Giving Cougsday.

Will I receive a receipt? 

You will receive a receipt upon completion of your gift. Tax receipts for all donations made through Philanthropies are mailed or emailed at year-end.
