What is One Day. One Prep.? 
It’s Creighton Prep’s annual day of giving: a 24-hour window for you to join hundreds of alumni, parents and friends to support the things you love most about Prep.

What is this year’s goal?
In recognition of Creighton Prep's founding in 1878, we are striving for 1,878 supporters in a single day. Every gift, no matter the amount, helps strengthen the programs and opportunities that impact students every day.

What areas can I support? 
You can support any of the following areas, or select a specific program within them:

• Athletics (Football, Tennis, Cross Country, Basketball, Bowling, Wrestling, Swimming, Baseball, Golf, Soccer, Track and Field)
• Campus Ministry
• Cura Personalis / Mission Centered (O'Leary Fund, Transportation, Food Services)
• Faculty and Staff Professional Development
• Fine and Performing Arts (Art/Photography, Band, Chamber Choir)
• Student Clubs and Activities (Intramural Sports)
• Student Support Services (Magis Scholar Program, Student Success Hour, Prep Closet, Mental Health Services/HOPE Squad, Academic and College Counseling)
• ToMorrow Labs/Robotics
• Tuition Assistance 

What is an advocate?
Advocates are the driving force behind One Day. One Prep. In 2025, advocates helped generate more than 800 of the 1,684 gifts made during the campaign.

As an advocate, your role is simple: share your enthusiasm for Creighton Prep. Talk about the day, post on social media, send a text, make a phone call, or email friends and family. When something is important to you, the people in your life are more likely to take notice and get involved.

By sharing your story and encouraging participation, you can help expand our reach and inspire others to make an impact on the areas of Prep that matter most to them.

I want to become an advocate. What next?
Getting started is easy! Choose the option that works best for you:

• Click the "Share with Your Network" button at the top of the page to create your unique, trackable sharing link.
• Complete the Advocate Registration Google Form.
• Contact Sammie Becker at (402) 548-3891 or sbecker@creightonprep.org for assistance or to sign up directly.

Advocate toolkits, sample messages, social media graphics, and your personalized tracking link will be distributed approximately one week before September 1.

As an advocate, you'll be able to track your impact in real time, see how many gifts are generated through your outreach, and help us spread the word about One Day. One Prep.

What if I want to make a One Day. One Prep. match or challenge gift?
Match and challenge gifts are a great way to inspire participation and build excitement throughout the day. If you are interested in creating a match or challenge that supports an area of Creighton Prep that is meaningful to you, please contact Sammie Becker at (402) 548-3891 or sbecker@creightonprep.org to explore available opportunities.

Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes. Creighton Prep is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit and your gift is tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law. 

Can I use my donor-advised fund (DAF) to make a donation? 
Yes!

Making a gift from your Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is a great way to support Creighton Prep during One Day. One Prep. on September 1, 2026!

Here’s how:

1. Contact Your DAF Provider Recommend a grant to: Creighton Preparatory School 7400 Western Avenue Omaha, NE 68114 Tax ID: 47-0376584
2. Include Special Instructions Ask your fund manager to note: “One Day. One Prep." in the grant designation or memo field. This ensures we can count your gift toward our Day of Giving goals and any applicable challenges or matches!
3. Let Us Know It’s Coming Because DAFs don’t always include donor details right away, please let us know when you’ve initiated your gift by emailing or calling Brad Burks at bburks@creightonprep.org or (402) 548-3803.

*While we are incredibly grateful for all forms of support, please note that gifts made through a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) are not eligible for donor giveaways due to IRS guidelines.
