A new digital carillon system will allow WIU to:

🔔 Continue hourly chimes across campus

🔔 Preserve traditions such as the playing of "Western Loyalty"

🔔 Improve reliability and reduce system outages

🔔 Support live performances through a connected keyboard

🔔 Play recorded musical selections for special events and celebrations

🔔 Create new traditions and experiences for future Leathernecks

This project is about more than replacing aging equipment. It is about preserving a cherished campus tradition while expanding what is possible.
