Where does my donation go?
Your donation can be designated to any existing fund within the university or hospital. This includes student groups, student services, academic departments, or other initiatives. Not sure where to give? Consider providing unrestricted donations to The Hopkins Fund—giving to the areas of the undergraduate experience that need it most.
What is The Hopkins Fund?
The Hopkins Fund is comprised of four unrestricted funds that can be used immediately to help financial aid applicants, undergraduate students, and faculty members.
How quickly can the money be used?
Most donations are received and ready to use within 10 business days! Unused donations roll over each year, allowing funds to continue to grow in size and impact.

Why does Hopkins need my donation?
While the cost of tuition covers many of the logistical and academic aspects of running the university, most of the Hopkins experience, student services, traditions and amenities our students love are dependent upon the generosity of annual gifts. We like to think of asking for a donation as asking you to give back to the student groups and campus traditions that matter most to you—and will matter the most to future Blue Jays.
What is the SPA Matching Gift Fund?
The Student Philanthropy Association's Matching Gift Fund is used to double the value of every senior class member's donation. This fund is supported through donations made by our most recent alumni and former Student Philanthropy Ambassadors.
