During this special week, the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine is sharing the story of Hansi, a dog who arrived at the CVM with a severe autoimmune disease. Thanks to the VetMed Companion Pet Assistance Fund, Hansi was able to receive intensive, life-saving treatment and is now on the road to recovery. His progress reflects the impact of timely care made possible when financial barriers do not stand in the way of treatment.
