We at Mount St. Mary Academy pride ourselves on the wonderful community surrounding us. We are sincerely grateful for our supporters, alumnae, families, faculty, and every person who has been touched by our beloved school. It is with the love from our community that we are able to carry out our mission of empowering our scholars to be leaders dedicated to lifelong learning and service to others.
The following quotes are from members of the Mount St. Mary Academy school community on what our school means to them.
“I came back to coach at the Mount because of the impact my experience here had on me as a student-athlete. Beyond the lessons and growth, some of the closest friendships in my life came from my time here. I wanted the opportunity to pour back into the program that gave me so much and help develop the same culture of confidence, competition, and support for the next generation of women.” - Paige Freer '17, MSM Varsity Soccer Coach
“I tell my daughter all the time how jealous I am of her high school experience. MSM is academically challenging and genuinely supportive, a place where every student can find her people and safely grow into her best self. My husband and I have been thrilled watching our daughter thrive: the opportunities she’s had, the understanding she’s received from faculty and friends, and the way her teachers have kept her challenged and engaged without ever making her feel pressured. We couldn’t ask for more.“ - Claire Sellers P'28
"I love and support the Mount for so many reasons! It's amazing to see the mission of the Sisters of St. Mary of Namur carried out at MSM, as it has always been, through service to others and simplicity in all things." - Mary Reiser Fiorella '79
"Simply put, there is no more joyful place than the fair halls of Mount St. Mary.
I found my true self at the Mount. Now it is my greatest joy to watch my daughter do the same." - Alexandra Kogler Fussell '96, P'27, Alumnae Board Member
"My years at the Mount were instrumental in making me the person I am today. Strong academics, a supportive environment, wonderful mentors and friendships that have endured for decades." - Mary Feeney Burich '79, P'17
"I am very grateful for my MSM education! It provided me with the skills and confidence to further my education in college and graduate school as well as in my career. My experiences at Mount St. Mary Academy helped me grow into the woman I am today! I want that for any current and future Mounties!"
- Laura Brick '11, MSM Alumnae Board President
