Not long ago at Mount Carmel, a simple comment sparked a huge idea:
“You know, if every living alumnus gave $100, we could raise more than $1,000,000.”
“Haha, that would be crazy.” “Wait. But would it?”
And the more we thought about it, the more we realized—it’s not only possible, it’s realistic.
Mount Carmel has more than 12,000 living alumni. If each gave just $100 on our Caravan Day of Giving, together we could raise over $1 million in one extraordinary day: The Caravan community coming together to support the place that helped shape who we are.
This idea is about participation as much as it is about dollars. It’s about showing what happens when every member of the Caravan community does what he can—knowing that when we act together, the impact is extraordinary.
A $100 gift is simple. The collective impact is transformational.
And the message it sends—to our students, our faculty, and our entire community—is powerful.
So, let’s do it!
On Caravan Day of Giving, we invite you to be part of something bold, hopeful, and deeply Carmelite. Give what you can. Encourage a classmate. Spread the word. Let’s see what happens when 12,000 alumni - and the entire Caravan Community - say “yes.”
