What is Alumni Day of Giving?

Walker’s Alumni Day of Giving is an annual fundraising event for The Walker Fund. On Alumni Day of Giving, alumni come together to make a difference for current students. All proceeds on Alumni Day of Giving benefit The Walker Fund. 

The primary goal of Alumni Day of Giving is participation. This day is for all of us, and every gift matters!

When is Alumni Day of Giving 2026?

Alumni Day of Giving 2026 will begin at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 30, and end at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 1. That totals 26 hours of giving!

Why is Alumni Day Giving lasting for 26 hours?

A campaign to last 26 hours is a way to celebrate the graduation of the Class of 2026 while providing for our students’ futures. 

Where does my gift go?

Gifts made toward the Alumni Day of Giving will support the 2025-2026 Walker Fund. The Walker Fund is the school's top fundraising priority and has an immediate impact on students. 

Where does the challenge money go?

Like all gifts on Alumni Day of Giving, funds for challenges go to the 2025-2026 Walker Fund. 

Will the amount of my gift be disclosed?

The amount of your gift is only shown if you offer a match or challenge that is not anonymous. Otherwise, your Alumni Day of Giving gift amount isn’t disclosed on the campaign page.

You can email development@thewalkerschool.org with your pledge or recurring gift for Alumni Day of Giving. If you pledge, you will have until June 30, 2026, to fulfill your commitment.
