Why Become an ACU Gives Advocate?

An ACU Gives advocate is a passionate supporter who helps spread the word about Abilene Christian University’s two-day campaign! Advocates amplify the campaign by sharing, posting, emailing, texting, and encouraging others to give. Your network can inspire others to support ACU students! 

Advocates have the ability to inspire others to give by spreading awareness and having your own unique tracking link to share to your personal network. 

And best yet, when you get others to donate using your link you’ll be rewarded. See the tiered list of prizes below. 

Steps to Become an Advocate

Becoming an advocate is simple!

1. To track your progress as an ACU Gives advocate, sign up for GiveCampus or log in to your existing account by clicking here: Join GiveCampus. You must be logged in to fully use the advocate tools and for GiveCampus to track your clicks, shares and gifts from your unique link. 
2. Once you are logged in, view your ACU Gives dashboard here: Visit Advocacy Dashboard
   
   
3. Utilize all the advocacy tools. Share the exciting news about ACU Gives with your network and see firsthand the impact YOU can make.

If you would like to serve as an advocate in the simplest way, email Kara O’Shaughnessy at advancement@acu.edu, and you can receive a unique tracking link to help spread the word about ACU Gives within your network, with the added ability to monitor the clicks and gifts generated through your outreach. No login necessary!

Benefits of Becoming an Advocate

Tier 1 Advocate 
Secure at least 5 donors who each give at least $5 using your advocate link. 
Reward:  ACU swag, including a Sticker + a pencil 

Tier 2 Advocate 
Secure at least 10 donors who each give at least $5 using your advocate link 
Reward: All Tier 1 benefits + an ACU tote bag

Tier 3 Advocate
Secure at least 15 donors who  each give at least $5 using your advocate link 
Reward: All Tier 1 & 2 benefits + an ACU Rally towel

Tier 4 Advocate
Secure at least 20 donors who each give at least $5 using your advocate link 
Reward: All Tier 1, 2, & 3 benefits + an ACU mug

As part of this top tier, you’ll also be entered into a drawing to win a limited edition ACU Gives t-shirt.
