What is The Berwick Fund?

The Berwick Fund is Berwick Academy’s annual giving campaign that raises critical philanthropic dollars to support the daily operations of the School during the current academic year.

How are gifts to The Berwick Fund spent?

The Berwick Fund supports every facet of the Berwick experience including flexible tuition, arts, athletics, innovation, and general school operating costs. You can designate your gift towards any of these priorities.

Why is The Berwick Fund necessary?

As an independent school, Berwick Academy does not receive any state or federal funding. The School relies entirely on tuition revenue, draw from the School’s endowment, and charitable donations from the community to educate our students and sustain the incredible faculty and programs at Berwick.

Additionally, and true to most independent schools, tuition does not cover the entire cost of educating our students, hence the need for additional philanthropic support. 

Every Berwick student is subsidized by at least $2,500 through charitable contributions to the School, regardless of whether they qualify for flexible tuition.
