What does "closing the gap" mean?  

Closing the gap means bridging the difference between what it actually costs to educate a student at SJND and what families are asked to pay in tuition. Every year, there's a real cost that isn’t covered by tuition alone and that’s where donors come in. Your gift helps make an SJND education accessible to all students, regardless of financial background.

Can I make a gift through Venmo or Paypal? 

Yes! When you go to the giving form, just fill out all of the required information and select Venmo or Paypal as your payment method. 

Can I make a gift over the phone? 

Yes, you can call 510.995.8308 to make a donation over the phone! However, the online form makes it easy to add donations to your decade.  

How can I help my decade win?

You can help your decade win by rallying your classmates to donate and get involved! There’s no limit to how many donors each decade can have; so reach out to your friends, fellow alumni, and keep the momentum going. The more engagement, the better, let’s do this!

Where does the money go?

Your donation goes directly to supporting our students and their experience. From general academics to specialized programs like healthcare, engineering, and entrepreneurship. It helps fund classroom resources, campus ministry, tuition assistance, faculty support, and student activities. Every dollar helps ensure Pilots have the tools they need to grow, learn, and lead.
