⏱️ Rules of Play
> What is the goal?
To reach 250 unique donors in 24 hours.
> How can I give?
Online gifts are encouraged for real-time participation, but offline gifts (cash, checks, etc.) will also count toward the total.
> Which gifts will be counted?
Gifts of $5 or more from unique donors will count toward the 250-donor goal. False names will be removed and will not count toward the total or any incentives.
> What are Power Hours?
Power Hours are special times during the giving day when gifts to featured funds help unlock additional donor goals or incentives. To count toward a Power Hour goal, gifts must be made to the funds highlighted for that hour.
> Can I give more than once?
You’re welcome to make multiple gifts, but each donor will only count once toward the 250-donor goal.
> Can I designate my gift to a specific fund or program?
Yes! You may direct your gift to the area that means the most to you. All eligible gifts will still count toward the donor goal.
> Are gifts tax-deductible?
Yes. Your gift is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law, and you will receive a receipt for your records.
> Can students, faculty, staff, and alumni participate?
Absolutely! Anyone can participate in CSU G.I.V.E.S. and help us reach our 250-donor goal!
> How can I track progress during the challenge?
You can follow our progress in real time on the campaign page, and on social media!
