What is the Day of Generosity?
Do I have to give online?
How do I give?
How do I make a gift to a fund that isn’t listed?
How many times can I give?
• Give as many times as you’d like — each gift makes an impact, though you will be counted as a donor only once
Can I support the challenge with a match or challenge gift?
• Yes! Match and challenge gifts help encourage additional giving and increase the impact of your gift. You can easily set up a match or challenge on this campaign page.
What does my gift support?
• Gifts provide students with essential resources such as food, clothing, and other necessities that help them to succeed in their schoolwork and in their communities.
Can I give to more than one program?
• Yes, you can support up to two programs per transaction.
I already gave this year — does my gift still count toward the challenge?
• Your gift supports students whenever you choose to make it. However, Day of Generosity only counts donors and dollars raised from March 1–April 9, 2026. If you already made a gift this year, please consider making an additional gift.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
• Yes. You’ll receive a gift receipt upon completion of your gift.
What is a Day of Generosity Advocate?
• As an advocate, your job is to help spread the word and encourage others to give. Your voice is powerful, and a personal message from you can inspire participation. Learn more in the Advocacy Toolkit section.
I’m an advocate but don’t know what to post or email people. What should I say?
• Don't worry — we have sample communication templates and graphics to use. Visit the Advocacy Toolkit section.
