What is Day of Giving?

Day of Giving is Scripps College’s annual tradition of coming together for 24 hours to celebrate community and expand opportunity for students.

When is Day of Giving?

Day of Giving takes place on March 25, where alums, families, students, faculty, staff, and friends unite to make a collective impact through support of The Scripps Fund or a designation that is near to their hearts.

What is The Scripps Fund?

Gifts to The Scripps Fund provide immediate, flexible support where it is needed most — strengthening financial aid, enhancing academic programs, expanding student resources, and ensuring every Scripps student can fully engage in the College’s transformative educational experience.

How can I participate?

There are many ways to get involved:

Make a gift of any amount to The Scripps Fund.

Every action — and every gift — helps strengthen the Scripps experience for current and future students.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes. Gifts to Scripps College are tax-deductible as permitted by law. You will receive a receipt for your contribution.

Can I specify where my donation goes?

Yes, if you would like to support a specific area or program, you may designate your gift accordingly using the available options on the giving form.
