HOW CAN I HELP? The best way to support Capital’s Day of Giving is by making a gift! Your generosity is a powerful way to show your belief in our students and the future they are building. You can also amplify your impact by becoming an advocate—spread the word to your network and encourage others to shine with us!

CAN I MAKE MY GIFT EARLY? Yes! Early gifts are welcome and count toward our 575-donor goal. If you’re giving by mail or phone, be sure to mention Capital’s Day of Giving so your gift is counted.

WILL MY EMPLOYER MATCH MY GIFT? Your gift may be eligible for a matching donation from your employer, doubling your impact! Check our employer match search tool when making your gift to see if your company participates.

IS MY GIFT TAX-DEDUCTIBLE? Yes, your gift to Capital University is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You will receive a tax receipt via email immediately after your donation is processed. If you would like a physical receipt mailed to you, please email annualgiving@capital.edu with your request!

DOES MY SPOUSE OR PARTNER COUNT AS AN ADDITIONAL DONOR? Yes! When making your gift, enter your spouse or partner’s information in the “joint gift” field so that both of you are counted as donors, helping us reach our goal even faster!

CAN I MAKE A GIFT WITH STOCKS OR SECURITIES? Yes! Gifts of stocks or securities are a great way to support Capital’s mission. Please contact our team in advance to ensure we count your gift toward Day of Giving.

CAN I MAKE A GIFT THROUGH A DONOR-ADVISED FUND? Absolutely! Let our team know at annualgiving@capital.edu or call us at 614.236.6812 so that we can count on your support. To make a distribution through your donor-advised fund, reach out to your financial institution and reference Capital’s Day of Giving with your gift designation.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT ONLINE? We accept debit and credit cards, instant bank transfers, PayPal, Venmo, Google Pay, and Apple Pay, making it easy for you to make your gift in whatever way works best for you!
