HOW CAN I HELP? The best way to support Black & Gold Rush is to make a gift! If you have some extra time, you can sign up as an Advocate to spread the word to your network.

DOES MY SPOUSE OR PARTNER COUNT AS AN ADDITIONAL DONOR? Yes! After you make your gift, fill in your spouse or partner’s information in the “joint gift” field so that you are both counted as donors.

IS MY GIFT TAX-DEDUCTIBLE? Yes, your gift to the UMBC Foundation during Black & Gold Rush will be tax-deductible and you will receive a tax receipt via email.

WILL MY EMPLOYER MATCH MY GIFT? Your gift may be eligible to be matched by your employer. Once you make a gift, you will see an opportunity to lookup your company and the tool will tell you if your gift can be matched. 

WHAT IS THE HILLTOP SOCIETY? The Hilltop Society honors the tremendous loyalty and generosity that our supporters have expressed through annual leadership gifts to the University. Combined gifts of $1,000 or more over one fiscal year (July 1 - June 30) to any UMBC funds qualifies a donor for Hilltop Society membership.
