Make your gift go even further! During UCR Give Day, special challenges throughout the day will unlock additional funds for participating project pages! 

Scotty Scavenger Hunt 🔎🐻 CHALLENGE MET
Play the game and find 5 Hidden Scottys across our Give Day website! The first five participants to collect all five will earn $200 each to designate to a project page of their choice. Winners will be chosen by those who email annualgiving@ucr.edu with confirmation and screenshots of the 5 Hidden Scottys as proof.

Keep In Touch Challenge 📬📱
Update your contact info through our Alumni & Friends Form, and you’ll be entered into a drawing to designate $250 to a project page of your choice. Six winners will be randomly chosen on April 8, 2026 at noon PDT.

50 States Challenge 🦅🗺️
Each time a donation is made from a new U.S. state on Give Day, an anonymous donor will contribute $200. With donors from all 50 states, we can unlock up to $10,000!  

Advocate Challenge 📣🚀
The top two Give Day advocates to bring in the most donors will get to allocate $1,000 each to the project page of their choice. 

Class Gift Tradition Challenge 🎓🎁
Calling all alumni from the Classes of 2023–2025 who made a senior class gift! Keep the tradition going. If 75 of you make a gift on Give Day, it will unlock $1,500. Every ’23–’25 alum who gives will be entered into a drawing, and one alum will be chosen to decide which Give Day project page receives the $1,500.

UCR Student Challenge 🏫🌱
If 50 students donate any amount on Give Day, it unlocks $1,000 for Give Day. Every student who gives will be entered into a drawing, and one student will be chosen to decide which Give Day project page receives the $1,000.

UCREA Give Day Challenge ✖️2️⃣ 
This year, four generous donors have committed a combined pledge of $4,000 in support of Give Day. Their combined pledge will match donations to the UCR Emeriti Association Graduate Student Travel Award Fund dollar for dollar, up to $1,000 per gift, up to a total of $4,000 for all gifts.

CNAS Dean's Newbies Challenge ✨ 
Calling all first-time CNAS Give Day project page participants! The newbie project page with the highest number of unique donors will receive $1,000 applied to their project. Applies to new CNAS project page participants for Give Day 2026. This challenge is made possible thanks to a generous gift from CNAS Dean Peter Atkinson and Valerie Baule!

CNAS Dean's Returners Challenge 🔁
The returning CNAS Give Day project page with the highest number of unique donors on Give Day will receive $1,000 applied to their project. Applies to CNAS project page participants from Give Day 2025. This challenge is made possible thanks to a generous gift from CNAS Dean Peter Atkinson and Valerie Baule!

CNAS Dean's Faculty & Staff Challenge 🎁 
Each CNAS faculty or staff who makes a Give Day gift to a participating CNAS Give Day page will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win $1,000 of prize money to designate to the CNAS foundation fund of their choice. This challenge is made possible thanks to a generous gift from CNAS Dean Peter Atkinson and Valerie Baule!

Thanks to the generous support from Dean Lynch, an additional $2,000 to the BCOE Dean's Innovation Fund will be unlocked once 37 donors make a donation to the BCOE Dean's Innovation Fund!

Double your impact! Thanks to the generous support from Dean Vaughn, every gift to the UCR Extension Scholarship for Student Success will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $2,026!

SOE Dean Match Challenge 👩‍🏫
Double your impact! Thanks to the generous support from Dean Spencer, every gift to the School of Education will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $1,000!

CHASS Dean's Faculty & Staff Challenge 🎭📊
Each CHASS faculty or staff member who makes a minimum $250 gift to a participating CHASS Give Day page will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win $1,000 of prize money to designate to the CHASS Give Day page of their choice. This challenge is made possible thanks to a generous gift from CHASS Dean Daryle Williams and Steven Fretwell.

Guardian Scholars Challenge 🫂
If 25 donors give to the Guardian Scholars Foster Youth Fund, it will unlock a $25,000 gift from the Littlehale Family to support Guardian Scholars summer internships.

Softball Donor Challenge
If 50 donors make a gift to Softball, it will unlock an additional $2,000 from Pat Taylor.

SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union Challenge 🍎 
A generous $12,500 gift from SchoolsFirst will be unlocked once 425 UCR retiree, emeriti, staff, and faculty members make a donation toward UCR Give Day!

Please note: Winners are not official until gifts are processed and confirmed. Attempts to artificially inflate the donor count to win a challenge will result in disqualification from the challenge. A project page can only win two Hourly Challenges.
