What is TWU Giving Day?

Giving Day is a special 36-hour fundraising event where the Trinity Western University community comes together to support our mission of equipping godly leaders. It's an opportunity to celebrate generosity and make a meaningful impact on the lives of students.

When is TWU Giving Day?

Giving Day will take place on March 31–April 1, 2026. Mark your calendar and join us in making a difference!

Giving is possible from the 2nd week of March until April 30. However, matches and challenges are only open for 36 hours from March 31 (7 a.m. start) until April 1st (7 p.m. close).

Who can participate?

Everyone is welcome to participate; Alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff, and friends of TWU. Your support helps transform the lives of students and extends TWU’s reach into communities worldwide.

Where does the money I donate go?

You may designate your gift to any of our 15 causes or even split your donation between your favourites! If you aren’t sure where you'd like to give, a donation to Area of Greatest Need supports all TWU students through scholarships, campus enhancements, and Student Life services.

Will 100% of my gift go to my designated choice?

Absolutely!

What are Challenges and Matches?

• A Challenge gift is a gift that is “unlocked” once a goal is reached. For example, the "1962 Challenge" will reward an additional $1,000 of funding to the cause that receives the 62nd gift. 
• A matching gift is a gift that matches an additional amount for any donation given. Learn more about the "All Donors Match," "Staff/Faculty Match," and "Alumni Match" in the Challenges section.

Is there a minimum donation amount?

Every donation makes a difference! Thank you for being generous, whatever the gift size.

The minimum donation amount that can be processed is $10.

What are the ways I can give?

The main way to donate is by credit card here on the TWU Giving Day page. Just click "Give Now!" on one of the causes above.

If you would like to donate in a different way, please email giving@twu.ca or contact Yana Kovaliv at 604.513.2121 (ext. 3313). During the 36-hour period of March 31–April 1, only online credit card gifts made here will apply to Challenges.

Is my contribution tax-deductible?

Yes. Trinity Western University is registered as a Canadian charity and all gifts made will immediately receive a Canadian tax receipt by email. If you require a U.S. tax receipt, please contact us at giving@twu.ca or contact Yana.Kovaliv@twu.ca at 604.513.2121 (ext. 3313).
