What is St. Joe’s Athletics Week of Giving?

The Maroon & White Challenge is a week-long celebration of athletic excellence at St. Joe’s! From November 16–21, the entire Marauder community, alumni, parents, students, and friends, comes together to support the tradition, teamwork, and pride that define St. Joe’s Athletics. Every gift helps fuel the success of our student-athletes on and off the field.

When is Athletics Week of Giving?

Our campaign kicks off Sunday, November 16, and runs through Friday, November 21 at midnight. You can make your gift anytime during the week, or even early, to help your team climb the leaderboard. 

Who can participate?

Anyone who believes in the power of St. Joe’s Athletics! Alumni, parents, grandparents, coaches, faculty, staff, and friends are all invited to join in and make a difference.

What counts toward Athletics Week of Giving?

Any gift made between November 16–21 (or through our pre-week communications) counts toward the Maroon & White Challenge. You can give online, by mail, or over the phone, and gifts from donor-advised funds or stock transfers are also welcome.

Your support directly strengthens St. Joe’s athletic programs, from uniforms and equipment to travel, training, and coaching. When you make your gift, you can select your favorite team to support!

Can I make my gift over the phone?

Absolutely! If you’d like to make your gift by phone, please call the Advancement Office at 716-270-4110.

Will my name and donation amount be visible on the campaign page?

Your name will appear on the campaign page unless you choose to remain anonymous. Donation amounts are not displayed unless you set up a matching gift or challenge.

How can I help make the week a success?

• Make your gift! Every donation, no matter the size, makes an impact.
• Back your team! Select your favorite program to help them climb the leaderboard.
• Become an advocate on GiveCampus! Share your passion and encourage others to give, your voice helps inspire participation across the community.

How do I encourage others to participate?

Be a champion for the Maroon & White! Post, email, or text your classmates, teammates, and family. Tell them what St. Joe’s Athletics has meant to you and invite them to give in honor of their favorite team, coach, or sport.

Are there talking points I should use?

• Every gift, of any size, supports St. Joe’s Athletics.
• You can choose which team or program to support.
• All donations made between November 16–21 count toward the Maroon & White Challenge goal.
• Special challenges and giveaways will take place throughout the week!
• When our community gives together, we power the pride, passion, and purpose of St. Joe’s Athletics.

Is my gift tax deductible?

Yes. Your gift to St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute is tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. Please consult your tax advisor for details.
