How can I sign up as a matching or challenge donor?

Use this giving page or scroll down to view all available campaigns. Once you find the campaign you’d like to support, click “Offer a matching gift” or “Offer a challenge gift.” From there, the platform will guide you through the steps to become a giving day challenge donor!

When will I receive my backpack and other items?

Your limited-edition backpack and/or the Sesquicentennial Bundle items should arrive in the mail by the end of June. Your item(s) will be sent to the mailing address you provide when you make your gift.

 

What features are on the backpack?

The backpack is made of high-quality 1000-denier polyester and measures 11"W x 17"H x 6 1/2"D. It features a large front zippered pocket, a double-zippered main compartment with padded back, adjustable padded shoulder straps, a carrying handle, and an embroidered logo.

What features are on the Sesquicentennial Bundle items?

Pennant: Measures 18" x 8".

Journal: Debossed with a Johns Hopkins 150th design and measures 8" H X 5.5" W X 0.5" D. Other features: built-in elastic band closure, interior back pocket, ribbon page marker, 80 pages of lined paper.

Can I get more than one backpack or bundle?

Yes, but only one backpack per $35 or more transaction. Only one backpack will be shipped per transaction. The same applies to the Sesquicentennial Bundle.

 

Can I give to more than one area of Johns Hopkins for #ONEHopkins?

Yes, but only if you make separate transactions to each designation. You cannot split one transaction between multiple designations.

 

Can you ship internationally?

Unfortunately, we are not able to ship internationally. Only U.S. addresses will be able to receive the backpack and Bundle items.

 

Is my gift tax-deductible?

Yes. You will receive a tax receipt valid in the United States via email after you make a gift. However, please note that there is an exchange of goods and services if you choose to receive an item with your donation. The fair market value of the item(s) we are providing will reduce the tax credit of your gift, in accordance with United States federal tax regulations. Fair market value of backpack: $8; fair market value of bundle: $23.
