Q: You’re a tuition-based school. Why are you asking for donations?
A: Tuition allows us to live - donations allow us to grow. Tuition covers day-to-day essentials like teacher salaries, benefits, food, maintenance, and our lease. Donations, however, fund the big dreams: purchasing our building and property, reimagining our playgrounds, and providing scholarships to extend our reach.
Q: How will my donation be used?
A: Every dollar directly supports our mission to awaken each child’s natural desire to learn in a nurturing, inclusive, and vibrant Montessori environment. Whether you give $10 or $1,000, your gift will help us purchase our current building—reducing lease costs and paving the way for future growth.
Q: How does OMMS plan to grow?
A: We dream of expanding the Montessori journey through high school by creating an adolescent program with additional classrooms, art and music spaces, and a gymnasium for athletics. We also plan to open an infant (Nido) program, allowing families to bring all their children to one nurturing place.
Q: Who should donate?
A: Anyone who believes in nurturing empowered, compassionate people who make a positive impact on the world! Whether you’re a parent, alum, grandparent, or community member—if you support our mission and value Montessori education, your gift matters.
Q: How much should I donate?
A: Give what feels right for your family—every contribution makes a difference. You can also set up an automatic monthly donation or check if your employer offers a matching gift program to double your impact.
Q: How can I share this with others?
A: Spread the word! Share our Day of Giving link with friends, family, and coworkers so they can learn more about Oak Meadow Montessori and join you in supporting our mission.
