What is the Purple vs. Gold Giving Challenge?

Tuesday, February 24 marks Chatham Hall's 133nd year and the launch of our first Charter Day giving challenge! Previously held on November 15 each year, the Purple vs. Gold Giving Challenge is Chatham Hall's annual day of giving, a 24-hour event for the entire Chatham Hall community to come together and make a gift of any size to the Chatham Hall Fund.

Does my gift count toward my giving society membership?

Yes! Your gift of any size will count toward your annual and lifetime giving totals, as well as giving society memberships such as the Oak Circle.

Is there a minimum gift amount?

The minimum Charter Day gift is $5.00.

Is my gift tax-deductible?

Yes, your gift to Chatham Hall on Charter Day will be tax-deductible and you will receive a tax receipt via email.
