What is Founders Day of Giving?
Founders Day of Giving is a 24-hour celebration of Sandhills School’s mission and history. This year’s event honors our 50th anniversary with the theme Strong Roots. Bright Futures. Together, we’re raising $75,000 in one day to support scholarships, classroom innovation, and continued excellence in teaching.

Why is my gift important?
Every gift makes a difference. Your support helps provide small class sizes, expert Orton-Gillingham instruction, and programs that empower bright students with dyslexia to thrive in school and in life.

Who participates in Founders Day of Giving?
Everyone in the Sandhills community—current families, alumni, grandparents, faculty, staff, and friends—can take part. Each gift, no matter the size, contributes to our collective success.

Will my gift be matched?
Yes! Thanks to the generosity of The Boyd Foundation, all gifts designated for scholarships and financial aid will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $250,000. Your donation goes twice as far in transforming students’ lives.

How do I make a gift?
