What is the Day of Giving?

The SAU Day of Giving is an annual 24-hour fundraising event that offers alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends an opportunity to support areas of campus that are most meaningful to them. We encourage everyone to join us in supporting today's Ambrosians!

Want to make your impact early?  You can make your gift April 1 - April 25, and it will count towards the SAU Day of Giving total. 

How do I  get a pair of socks?

Every donor who gives $25 or more receives a pair of the 2023 edition of Bee Socks! Current SAU students can join the fun and get their socks for just $10!

RECENT ALUMNI CHALLENGE

Gifts from Recent Alumni (2000-2023) will be matched dollar for dollar up to $10,000! All donations made by alumni of the 2000's will be matched, with the matching funds being designated to support Ambrose for All! scholarships which open doors for the next generation of students. This challenge fund is made possible thanks to the generosity of Board of Trustees, Mark and Kathy Kilmer.

500 BEES CHALLENGE

To inspire all donations - big or small - help us reach 500 BEES and unlock a gift of $10,000 to support student scholarships! This challenge fund is made possible thanks to the generosity of Board of Trustees, Renee ('81) and Frank Citera.

1,000 BEES CHALLENGE

To inspire all donations - big or small - help us reach 1,000 BEES and unlock a gift of $10,000 to support student scholarships! This challenge fund is made possible thanks to the generosity of Board of Trustees, Brian ('91) and Leslie ('91) Bassier.

PARENTS & GRANDPARENTS CHALLENGE

In honor of all SAU parents and grandparents, Renee ('81) and Frank Citera will be matching all donations to the SAU Parents and Grandparents fund dollar for dollar up to $5,000! 

CHILDREN'S CAMPUS CHALLENGE

To support our youngest bees, an anonymous donor will be matching all donations to the SAU Children's Campus fund dollar for dollar up to $1,000! 

CLASS GIVING CHALLENGE

Watch the leaderboard and see which class is making the largest number of gifts! Reach out to classmates to be sure they help us reach our alumni goal!

How do I direct my gift to an area important to me?

You may direct your gift to any area that is important to you! To give to an area not listed, use "Area of Your Choice", either enter the name of your preferred designation or use the dropdown to "Select a Designation" and type in your gift designation. 

How can I use my company's matching gift in support of St. Ambrose University? 

If your company is eligible for a matching gift (click here to look up Matching Gift information for your employer), follow their instructions to request a matching gift. Mailed forms should be sent to St. Ambrose University Advancement, 518 West Locust Street, Davenport, IA 52803. 

My company or employer provides sponsorships, can they give back too?

Your company or employer can support students at St. Ambrose during the Day of Giving by making a gift on this site. In addition, we invite you to consider joining our Wine Festival tradition by becoming a Merlot or Chardonnay sponsor for our 2023 Wine Tasting, held on May 20.
