Wingate Athletics Champions Campaign FAQ

1. What is the Wingate Athletics Champions Campaign? The Wingate Athletics Champions Campaign is a fundraising initiative that supports our 30 athletic teams, as well as our cheerleaders and the Spirit of the Gate marching band.
2. Where will my donation go?
   • Team-Specific Gift: If you designate your gift to a specific team, 100% of it will go directly to that team.
   • Bulldog Athletics Fund Gift: Gifts to the Bulldog Athletics Fund are directed towards the athletic department’s highest priorities, which may include general expenses for travel, uniforms, equipment, facility upgrades, and other essentials that contribute to the success of our teams.
3. Is this part of the Bulldog Club? Yes! The Bulldog Club is sponsoring this initiative, and all donations to athletics, including those made during the Wingate Athletics Champions Campaign, are counted under the Bulldog Club.
4. If I already gave this year, will my gift count towards the Wingate Athletics Champions Campaign (WACC)? While your earlier gift does count toward this fiscal year, a new donation made during this campaign window is required to support the WACC’s specific donor count.
5. Where did the campaign name come from? The "Wingate Athletics Champions Campaign" was chosen to reflect the high standards of our Division II athletics program. We strive for excellence in everything we do, and this campaign embodies that commitment.
6. If I make a second gift, will it add to my Bulldog Club membership level? Yes.
