How can we participate in Winsor Giving Day?
You can make your Winsor Giving Day gift any of the following ways:
This year, Winsor Giving Day is shifting from the spring to the fall to align with Under the Lights and Spirit Week, two exciting campus traditions that bring the community together. While this means there will be two Giving Days in the 2025 calendar year, there will only be one giving day this school year. Going forward, Giving Day will take place in the fall each year.
Is my Gift tax deductible?
Yes. You will be emailed a tax receipt upon making a gift on the Giving Day site.
Will Giving Day gifts count toward the Winsor Leads Campaign?
Yes your Giving Day gift goes to support The Winsor Fund, and every dollar given to the Winsor Fund will dually count toward the Winsor Leads Campaign. Winsor is both growing our endowment through this campaign and bolstering the school's immediate-use resources through the Winsor Fund to empower the school to harness opportunities and respond to needs as they arise.
What if I already made a gift to the Winsor Fund this fiscal year?
Giving Day is about showing the power of collective philanthropy and the Winsor community when we come together for this special day of giving, it is all about participation on the day of. If you already made a gift this fiscal year, we greatly appreciate it and hope you consider making a participation gift today towards our goal of 479 donors, one for every Winsor student! Please know how grateful we are for all your support of The Winsor School.
What if I already made a gift to the Winsor Fund this calendar year?
We appreciate your continued support and similarly to above, we hope you will consider making a participation gift on the day of towards our goal of 479 donors in 24 hours.
Can I create a match or challenge, how are they different?
Absolutely, providing a match or a challenge is a great way to amplify your impact on Giving Day, and create some healthy competition among classes. You can create a challenge or a match above as you are making your gift to leverage your impact! The difference between the two is:
- A match generates matching funds right away as donors or dollars come in. You can match by donors or dollars up to your desired amount.
- A challenge unlocks your gift when a certain threshold is met.
