Challenges

• Early Bird Challenge: To help get this campaign off the ground, a generous alumnus will donate $100,000 if 100 Early Bird donors make gifts between now and February 28! *UPDATE: CHALLENGE MET!*
• 1,000-Donor Challenge (March 1-2, all day): If we hit our overall goal of 1,000 donors, a Deerfield trustee will generously donate $250,000! *UPDATE: CHALLENGE MET!*
• Young Alumni Challenge (March 1-2, all day): If at least 250 young alumni make a gift on the Day of Giving, Charles Jones '12, Daniel Hirsch '13, and Michael Hirsch '18 will contribute a combined gift of $10,000 to the Annual Fund! *UPDATE: CHALLENGE MET!*
• Reunion Alumni Challenge (March 1-2, all day): In honor of their own Reunion milestones, Chris Flagg ’83, Nigel Newton ’73, and other Reunion alumni will match each gift made by alumni in a reunion year dollar for dollar! *UPDATE: CHALLENGE COMPLETE!*
• Triple-Time Challenge (March 1, 3-6pm ET): All gifts will be TRIPLED (up to $300,000!) from 3-6pm ET thanks to three Deerfield Trustees: Jack Chen ’08, Amy Sodha Harsch ’97, and Steve Quazzo ’78 P’08! *UPDATE: CHALLENGE COMPLETE!*
• West Coast Challenge (March 1, 5:15pm-midnight PT): Trustees living on the West Coast established this special challenge, committing to match every gift made by alumni from the West Coast, Hawaii, and Alaska dollar for dollar up to $50,000! *UPDATE: CHALLENGE COMPLETE!*

Incentives

• Day of Giving donors (March 1-2, all day): Donors who make a gift leading up to or anytime throughout the Day of Giving will receive exclusive prints of Deerfield’s campus! Early bird donors also receive a special shout-out in the "updates" section below. *UPDATE: CHALLENGE COMPLETE!*
• Young Alumni donors (March 1-2, all day): Young alumni donors from the Classes of 2008-2022 will be entered for a chance to win lunch at the Deerfield Inn with Head of School, Dr. John Austin and two Deerfield friends of their choice! One winner will be chosen at random. *UPDATE: CHALLENGE COMPLETE + WINNER ANNOUNCED BELOW!*
• Reunion Alumni donors (March 1-2, all day): Reunion classes who meet or exceed 50% donor participation by the end of the fiscal year on June 30 will be awarded a named bench on Deerfield’s campus. Help your class get a head start to earning a special class bench that will be placed on campus this summer and displayed for years to come! *UPDATE: CHALLENGE COMPLETE!*
• Reunion Alumni donors (cont.) (March 1-2, all day): Reunion alumni who make a gift will be entered for a chance to win a complimentary Reunions Weekend registration package! One winner will be chosen at random. We can’t wait to see you on June 9-11, 2023! *UPDATE: CHALLENGE COMPLETE + WINNER ANNOUNCED BELOW!*
  
• First-Time donors (March 1-2, all day): Donors making their first ever gift to Deerfield will be entered for a chance to win a meal for two at the Deerfield Inn! One winner will be chosen at random. *UPDATE: CHALLENGE COMPLETE + WINNER ANNOUNCED BELOW!*
• Past Day of Giving donors (March 1-2, all day): All donors who made a gift during one of the past five Days of Giving (2018-2022) and renew their support again this year (2023) will be entered for a chance to win a Deerfield crew neck sweatshirt. *UPDATE: CHALLENGE COMPLETE + WINNER ANNOUNCED BELOW!*
  
• Early Riser Rush (March 1, 6am-9am ET): All donors who make a gift between 6-9am ET will be entered for a chance to win a Deerfield coffee mug and a bag of Tree House Coffee Company's house blend beans! *UPDATE: CHALLENGE COMPLETE + WINNERS ANNOUNCED BELOW!*
• Late Night Madness (March 1, 8pm-midnight ET): All donors who make a gift between 8pm-midnight ET will be entered for a chance to win a cozy Deerfield blanket, perfect for future late nights! *UPDATE: CHALLENGE COMPLETE + WINNERS ANNOUNCED BELOW!*
