Virtual Event: Laker Tank

Do you think your organization has what it takes to impress the sharks? This fully virtual “Shark Tank”-style competition gives any participating student organization the chance to compete for $1,000 in challenge funds and show off your creativity along the way. Participation is optional for Student Philanthropy Week organizations, so opt in if you are ready to make your pitch to our panel of alumni judges.

Prizes:

Thank you to Len '94 & Christy Van Popering for the generous challenge gift that made this event possible.

Floats for Philanthropy | Fountain behind Student Services, Valley Campus | 1 - 4 pm.

Kick off the week with ducks, floats, and a splash of philanthropy! The fountain will be filled with rubber ducks waiting to be scooped up. Just like a carnival game, grab a duck to win a prize. Special ducks unlock bonus dollars for featured student organizations. You’ll get to keep your duck as a souvenir, enjoy a fresh-scooped root beer float, and learn about opportunities to volunteer in your community.

Prize winners:
