Why is Dalton hosting an Alumni Giving Day?

Dalton's Alumni Giving Day is meant to inspire alumni from around the world to come together in support of a common cause and unlock a generous contribution of $100,000 to the Annual Fund. Gifts of all levels help us in reaching our goal of 250 donors by May 5th, 2025.

What do gifts support?

All gifts to Alumni Giving Day support Dalton's Annual Fund. Dalton’s Annual Fund depends on alumni participation year after year. These unrestricted, tax-deductible gifts are an immediate, tangible investment in the daily life of students and are a crucial complement to our tuition revenue and endowment. 

The Annual Fund enables us to attract and retain an outstanding faculty, to provide financial assistance, to support the development of new curricula and programming, and much more!

Do all gifts really make a difference?

Yes! In fact, last year, 50% of donors to Dalton gave a gift of $250 or below. Every gift, multiplied by many, moves the needle and helps Dalton reach it's fundraising goals!

Are there other ways to give?

Yes! We accept checks, wires, stock and Donor Advised Fund gifts. Please email giving@dalton.org for instructions.

I already gave this school year, can I still participate in Alumni Giving Day?

Yes, absolutely! All gifts are welcome and appreciated. Gifts through May 5th count towards our goal.

Who is responsible for these adorable tiger graphics?

We collaborated with illustrator and educator April Kim Tonin '88, who reprised her famous Ivan the Tiger character for this occasion. We are so grateful for April's creativity and partnership.
