What is Trevecca Giving Day?
Trevecca Giving Day is a 24-hour time that the Trevecca community—alumni, students, employees, churches, businesses and friends—come together and celebrate the power of community by making a gift to the university. Our goal is to engage our community, secure 1,500 donors in one day, and make a significant impact for important facilities, scholarships and programs!
When is Trevecca Giving Day?
Trevecca’s 3rd Annual Giving Day is on Wednesday, March 22, 2023.
How can I give?
- Gifts may be made online at: Trevecca.edu/give
- Call 615-248-1355 to talk with one of our University engagement team members
- Stop by campus on 3/22 at the Hardy Alumni Center to drop off a gift.
- Send your check made payable to Trevecca Nazarene University and write in the memo line: Giving Day
Is my contribution tax deductible?
Yes! Trevecca is a 501©3 tax deductible organization.
Can I designate my gift?
Yes! There are several projects that are featured on Giving Day but gifts may be made to any fund.
What size of gifts are accepted?
Gifts of all sizes are accepted and count toward our goal of 1,500 donors.
What are matching and challenge gifts?
- Matching gifts are ones that match your gift. For example, for every dollar you give, the match will give $2 dollars.
- Challenge gifts are released when a stated goal is reached. For example, when 50 people give, $5,000 is released.
- There are several generous donors who have offered matches and challenges to empower giving on 3/22/23!
I think I’d like to offer a match or challenge gift. What do I do?
When the giving site opens, you can set up your own match or challenge. You can also call Peg Cooning at 615-248-1451 or email at pcooning@trevecca.edu to get further information.
What is an advocate and how can I sign up?
An advocate agrees to make their own gift and then encourages others to join them in supporting Trevecca on Giving Day. You can sign up here on the Trevecca Giving Day site and then download resources to help you promote Giving Day on your own social media.
