What is Maryville Giving Day?
Maryville Giving Day is a 24-hour event designed to celebrate the University and inspire students, faculty, alumni and friends to make a gift to meaningful Maryville University funds.
Throughout the entire day on April 24, 2025, we encourage the Maryville community to come together and show its support. All gifts — no matter the size or designation — will count toward Maryville Giving Day and help unlock additional challenge dollars.
Why should I participate in Maryville Giving Day?
When you give and when others give, you help to move Maryville forward. That’s what Maryville Giving Day is all about. It is one collective day for the entire Maryville community to join as one to make great things happen.

How do I make a gift?
You can make your gift, by clicking the red “Give Now” button at the top of your screen! If you prefer to make your gift through other means (i.e. check), please contact us at gifts@maryville.edu.
Besides making a gift, how can I help Maryville?
Share the day: Help Maryville spread the word by sharing your Maryville stories and pictures using hashtag #MaryvilleGivingDay25. We will collect and share your posts, to help celebrate and spread the word!
Become an ambassador: Sign up HERE. As an ambassador, you can share messages and create excitement about the day before and during the campaign. Spread awareness within your network using email or social posts and encourage others to join you in giving back to Maryville University.

What are the Maryville Giving Day Challenges?

Is my Maryville Giving Day contribution tax deductible?
Yes. Maryville University is an exempt organization, as described in Section 501(c)I(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and you will receive an acknowledgment that will serve as a receipt.
What if I want to make a gift before #MaryvilleGivingDay25?
Can’t wait until April 24 to make your gift? You can make a gift today by clicking the “Give Now” button at the top of this webpage. Your contribution will be added to our Giving Day totals.
Can I make a recurring gift?
Yes! Click the “make this gift recurring” checkbox on our online donation form. Your recurring gift will count toward the Maryville Giving Day totals and applicable challenges.
Is my payment secure?
Absolutely. Your payment is securely processed by Authorize.Net through our online giving platform. The information collected during Maryville Giving Day is only used by Maryville University, and it will not be sold or shared with any third-party organizations. Your credit card information will not be stored.
How will my gift be used?
Maryville allocates your gift directly to the designation you choose, or to the area(s) of greatest need the Maryville Fund.
