What is Believe in the G (BITG)?

Believe in the G is UNCG's annual day of giving when everyone connected to UNCG comes together to show Spartan spirit, support what they love best about UNCG, and invest in its future. Special matches and challenges mean that your gift can go further and do more good than at any other time of the year!

When is Believe in the G?

Believe in the G starts at 7:30am on Tuesday, March 25 and goes through 2:00pm on Wednesday, March 26. 

Why should I give to Believe in the G?

Annual gifts go to work immediately to enhance programs that serve to enrich the student experience, fund student scholarships, and maintain a supportive environment for outstanding faculty and staff. Your philanthropic support is a vote of confidence in the educational experience provided by UNCG. 

A strong, supportive community of alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends also influences the amount of financial support the university receives from corporations and foundations.

How can my gift be counted for Believe in the G?

Gifts can be made throughout our Believe in the G campaign in one of two ways:

1. Make your gift here to the school, program or cause about which you’re passionate.
2. Mail your check, made out to UNCG, with your gift designation and “Believe in the G” written in the memo line, to:
