When is the Feed the Tiger Challenge?

Feed the Tiger starts on Monday, November 28 and runs until Friday, December 2 at 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time.

Why should I give during the Feed the Tiger Challenge?

Feed the Tiger is a great opportunity to support current and future CC students with a gift to the Annual Fund, financial aid, or any initiative that speaks to you. 

You also have the unique opportunity to double your gift through the Feed the Tiger Challenge! When you give a gift to support any purpose at CC, an anonymous donor will match your gift dollar-for-dollar with a donation to support scholarships, up to $100,000.

Can I use my gift to challenge my friends or classmates?

Yes, and the platform can help you create a Match or a Challenge yourself! 

A match is when you give a certain amount per donor or match gifts dollar-for-dollar up to a certain amount.

Examples: I am matching $__ per donor, up to $___ or ___ (number) of donors today! I am matching gifts from the Class of __ (class year) dollar-for-dollar up to $____.

A challenge is when you give a certain amount if a goal is met. 

Examples: I will give $____ if ___ (number) of donors give today! I will give $___ if ____ (number) of donors from ____ (affiliation or class year) give today!

How will I know if my gift is matched?

When you give a gift to support any purpose at CC during the Feed the Tiger Challenge, an anonymous donor will match your gift dollar-for-dollar with a donation to support scholarships, up to $100,000. The platform will automatically apply the match when you give.

When you make your gift, you will see all active matches on the giving form. So long as your gift meets the match criteria, it will be matched automatically by the platform. For example, a match that is listed as "Just for the Class of 1995" will be applied to all alumni who note their class year as 1995.
