Our website allows you to create a challenge or match gift and encourage anyone (your classmates, others interested in your fund, current students, etc.) to make gifts – and make an even bigger impact! Once you are signed in on this site, you will be able to create a unique tracking link (via the share buttons) and you will be able to see in real-time how many donors and dollars have come in because of YOU!

Is my payment secure?

Yes. All payments will be processed using a secure online giving form. The information collected during our Impact Howard Year-End Challenge will be used solely by Howard University.

Is there a minimum gift?

The minimum gift accepted is $1. Gifts of all size are welcome and appreciated. Collectively, these gifts add up to a big impact for current and future students.

Can I make a recurring gift?

Yes! You can set up a recurring gift during our Impact Howard Year-End Challenge. Only your first payment will count towards a challenge or a match.

Do I have to support a specific fund for my gift to be counted?

Nope! We want you to support any area you’re passionate about. You can select the Impact Howard fund of your choice to support scholarships, research, the endowment or a specific school or college. Can’t decide? You may also donate to the area of greatest need through the University’s unrestricted Impact Howard Fund. 

What if I already made my Calendar Year End gift?

Thank you for your generous support! We appreciate your commitment and participation in the Impact Howard Year-End Challenge. You can also encourage others to make their gift!

Is my gift tax-deductible for 2024?

Yes, gifts received by 12/31 are tax-deductible for the 2024 tax year. You’ll receive a receipt for tax purposes immediately following your gift. Any questions about your receipt can be directed to the Division of Development and Alumni Relations at 202-238-2340.
