What’s the goal?

Our goal is to light every candle at the Grotto on Giving Tuesday. Every gift made on Giving Tuesday, whether in honor of a loved one or just in honor of Giving Tuesday, will light a candle in our Grotto. Together, Saints Light the Way! đź•Żď¸Ź

How can I inspire others with a challenge?

This year’s website allows you to create a challenge or match gift and encourage anyone (your classmates, others interested in your fund, current students, etc.) to make gifts – and make an even bigger impact! Once you are signed in on this site, you will be able to create a unique tracking link (via the share buttons) and you will be able to see in real-time how many donors and dollars have come in because of YOU!

Where can I find updates?

Right here on this site you can track progress, learn about the different challenges, and see how many gifts you have inspired as a Saints advocate! Most important, you’ll be able to see the collective impact of so many people giving at the same time!

Can anyone participate in Siena's Giving Tuesday?

YES! We invite our entire community to participate to help light every candle at the Grotto. 

Can I make a recurring gift?

Yes! You can set up a recurring gift on December 3, but only your first payment will count toward our goal for the day. 

Do I have to support a specific designation for my gift to be counted?

Nope! We want you to support any area you’re passionate about. But we do hope you’ll consider giving to one of our priority funds shown in the drop down. Can’t decide? Consider supporting any area of the Annual Fund, which supports the greatest needs of Siena College!  

What if I already made my annual gift this year?

Thank you for your generous support! We appreciate your commitment and encourage you to make another small gift during #SienaGivingTuesday to participate in the challenges. You can also encourage others to make their gift!

Is my gift tax-deductible?

Yes. You’ll receive a receipt for tax purposes immediately following your gift. Any questions about your receipt can be directed to 518.783.2461 or annualfund@siena.edu.
