The past two years have provided our world with unprecedented challenges. These challenges, which seem to be continuing into the year 2022, often keep us from recognizing God’s call for us as both individuals and institutions. In this keynote presentation, Dr. Julianne Wallace, Director of Apostolic Mission and Charism, U.S. Province of Priests and Brothers, will explore how vocation can bring us back to the center bring us back to who God is calling us to be, even in the midst of great trials. This presentation will explore understandings of personal and institutional vocation along with the discernment processes involved in hearing and responding to God’s call in this world. Dr. Wallace will also highlight some of her work with the Congregation of Holy Cross, proposing some practical aspects of a vocation for Holy Cross education. (0:45:09 running time)
Lindsey Taucher '94 leads a mindful yoga session including several different styles. To prepare, you'll need to have: yoga mat or large towel, strap or belt block or a few books to stack, yoga blanket or folded towel or pillow that can be rolled/folded.
