The 100 Hours of Giving: Honoring Our Educators is a celebration of McIntire’s faculty—past and present—as we continue to celebrate our Centennial milestone. This special campaign runs for 100 Hours, from Monday, April 4 through Friday, April 8.
All McIntire educators who are honored during the Challenge will receive special notification of your gift in a HONORGRAM delivered by a current McIntire student. This will take the form of an in-person gift (balloons and card) to the educator or a thank-you video filmed by a student, shared via email.
Who can participate? Alumni, parents, and friends of McIntire can honor our faculty in celebration of this milestone by making a gift and sharing the campaign with their networks.
How can I give?
Is there a minimum gift amount? All gifts are meaningful, and the collective effect of broad alumni support sustains the McIntire experience. Last year, gifts of $100 or less totaled over $120,000! It takes a $2.5 million endowment to generate equivalent annual income. Your gift is critical to our future.
If I make a pledge, will it count for the 100 Hours of Giving? Pledges will not be counted during the challenge; however, pledge payments will.
If I am in my reunion year, does a gift during the 100 Hours of Giving count toward my class reunion totals? Yes. Gifts and pledge payments made during this three-day challenge will count in your class reunion totals.
Are donations U.S. tax-deductible? Yes. You will receive an email confirmation that will serve as a receipt for tax purposes.
