What is the Fund for Gladwyne Montessori?
The Fund for Gladwyne Montessori, also known as the Annual Fund, ensures that our Gladwyne Montessori is not only an extraordinary learning environment for our children, but also an exceptional place of work for our talented teachers and staff.
Unlike gifts to our endowment or contributions reserved for specific initiatives, annual gifts provide a flexible source of funding that can be used immediately, enabling us to address needs and opportunities as they arise during the school year. When a faculty member identifies a new Montessori material that is just what a student needs...when a student inquires about investigating a research topic in new ways...when a just right opportunify for professional development emerges...these are all times when the Fund for Gladwyne Montessori is put to use.
How much should I donate?
On average, families donate around $500, with gifts ranging from $25 to $10,000. Leadership levels begin at $1,000. A gift of any amount counts toward our annual participation. We encourage you to contribute at a level that is meaningful to you.
Why does my gift matter?
Collectively, gifts of all sized have a significant impact on our school's mission. Having a strong participation rate reflects our community's incredible passion and unwavering belief in our school and mission.
Are donations tax-deductible?
Gladwyne Montessori is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Why does the school need an Annual Fund?
Like other independent schools, Gladwyne Montessori’s Annual Fund enables our school to respond nimbly to new opportunities and unanticipated needs mid-year. Contributions made through the annual fund:
