Tradition Starts with You - Support the future of medicine by purchasing an incoming medical student's stethoscope.
For incoming students at the Mercer University School of Medicine (MUSM), the stethoscope is more than a piece of equipment - it is a tangible symbol of the start of a student's medical education journey and entry into the world of medicine. Through the Stethoscope Project, you can become a part of this important milestone for a new medical student.
Sponsor a stethoscope for $125 (or make a gift of any size) to show your support for MUSM Class of 2027. During the White Coat Ceremony this fall, students will receive a white coat and a new, Mercer-branded stethoscope as they pledge their commitment to the profession of medicine. Your participation in this year's Stethoscope Project will remind our students that they are a part of a community and supported by faculty, staff, family and friends who are equally passionate about improving lives and building healthier communities. Your generosity will make a lasting impact on the next generation of Mercer doctors.
Make your gift by August 25 to ensure your support is listed and included amongst the alumni, friends and family supporting the Class of 2027. All donors with gifts of $1,000 or more will be listed in the White Coat ceremony program and recognized as members of The President's Club, the University's leadership donors.
Donations given through this campaign will be used for the Stethoscope Project. Any donations received in excess will be used to support MUSM students through related activities.
